Membership

You receive so many wonderful benefits by being a member of San Diego Book Arts: 

• Early Enrollment Plan is a Member only discount for challenging and exciting workshops taught by nationally known artists.

• End Papers bi- monthly newsletter keeps you current on local, regional and national book arts competitions, updates you on our community outreach, and often features the work of our members.  And if you want to know what new workshops are on the horizon, you definitely won’t want to miss End Papers, as the newly available workshop additions are always included so you can sign up early.

• And when you join SDBA you bring your own special talents and experiences to the larger community of members, making SDBA a richer source of talent and inspiration.  We make art and community together. 

• Monthly video meetings (2nd Wednesday of each month) that offer member-featured Demonstrations and Tips and Tricks.  These meeting segments are so helpful for all experience levels.

SDBA is a resilient organization. It not only survived, but thrived during the pandemic.  Our membership over the past year has grown by 70%. As more of our offerings were made available via zoom, more artists found us online.  This year we hope to not just sustain this growth, but continue to build both our membership and our reputation as a pre-eminent books arts association.

Membership is yearly based on the month you join. For example, if you joined in November 2022, your membership will last until November 23. SDBA will send you a notification when your membership is up for renewal.
