This just might become your personal treasury of favorite go-to recipes. First you'll stitch the layers together using the special method of assembling two signatures. The paper selected is a heavier weight since this book is planned for lots of use. As the bookmaker, you have the option of including four pockets to store notes or other recipes on 3" x 5" cards. Start setting your favorite recipes aside so you can copy them into your journal ... and sketches are welcome!

The pages start with a square, like most origami folds, and fold on the diagonal. Basically an accordion book, when the folded pages are glued together, “wings” emerge from the valley folds, and there are pockets that hold mementos, additional text or related images.

This little treasure of a book has jewels on the cover and is tied with a satin ribbon.  It's 1.5 inches square but opens to a 4-inch ornament.  The red and green pages fan open to reveal a special message and decorated pages in a traditional lotus-shape fold.  When fully opened, the cover can be tied to display the book on a table or to hang. This is typically a five-section book, but six is good for two colors.
